The story behind the Panther Driver patches

Early in 2022, I designed a unique Panther Driver patch for “Grut”, a fighter pilot in the 61st FS. After receiving his patches, he reached out to me again: “Why not use your Panther Driver patch design and customize it for each and every F-35 squadron individually?”

What started as a fun idea quickly grew into an impressive, one-of-a-kind project. I’m proud to say that the Panther Driver patch has since become a standard patch for F-35 units.

As Grut put it: “Your patch design is making the F-35 community better and finally helping it take the next step it needs to find its identity. I think it’s awesome that thousands of these patches will be around the community for years to come.”
